New Delhi, Mar 9 : Amid ruckus, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday made a statement over the issue of separatist leader Masarat Alam’s release from a prison in Jammu and Kashmir last week and said the Centre will never compromise on security-related issues.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha, he said: “He had 27 criminal cases on him. As far as the information we have, the court granted him bail for all those cases.”
“After getting full clarification from the state government, we will issue a strong advisory, if it is needed,” Singh said.
The Opposition parties on Monday created ruckus in the Parliament over the release of separatist leader Masarat Alam from a prison in Jammu and Kashmir last week.
